Tikara’s passion for postpartum care and breastfeeding is manifested from her own experiences following the birth of twins, born prematurely, at just over 31 weeks gestation. At the time, she and her husband were thousands of miles away from family due to his job in the armed forces. They were all alone with no external support other than a handful of coworkers and hospital staff. Being a NICU parent also opened her eyes to the amount of misinformation and ill-guided techniques that women are commonly and briefly educated on. Tikara provides postpartum and lactation support to individuals and families of various dynamics. Through her experiences, backed by evidenced-based research, she strives to prevent the frustrations and obstacles that can occur without support. Services are offered and tailored to your specific needs and are also available virtually.

Debbie's passion is to support an intended parent during their journey into and through the childbearing year. Over a decade ago, she started her career as a doula by attending births. This was part of her early training to become a Certified Professional Midwife. Since that time, she has supported over 300 families in welcoming their babies. Motherhood, however, is not isolated to pregnancy and birth. Often the intended birthing individuals need support during pre-conception, and often after the baby is born. Debbie's role as your doula is to provide you with care so you may feel informed, empowered, and confident wherever you are in your process of building your family.
